Wickerham Signs Walker

Temple Terrace, Fla. - Incoming freshman Brent Walker is the first golf commit for the 2022-23 school year.

Walker comes to Temple Terrace from Genesis Christian Academy in Port Charlotte, Fla. He has played on the varsity golf team for Lemonbay High School the last four years and was named an All-County player in 2021.

He will be a History major in the fall.

"I'm super excited to go to Florida College and I can't wait to spend the next four years there," said Walker.

"Brent is a quality young man who has exemplified hard work and dedication throughout his high school career," added head coach Wilson Wickerham. " We are excited to sign him to the Florida College golf team to continue that same standard of excellence at the collegiate level."
