Sam Johnson Represents Florida College in NAIA National Championship Meet

TALLAHASSEE, Fla — Florida College sophomore Sam Johnson competed on the sport's biggest stage this past weekend, representing the Falcons at the 2025 NAIA Men's Cross Country National Championships.

Johnson finished 196th overall out of 323 runners, marking a strong performance against the nation's top collegiate distance athletes. He crossed the line in 26:37.8, continuing a breakout season that earned him his first national appearance.

As the lone national qualifier for Florida College, Johnson carried the program's banner in the elite field.
