TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. - Head women's soccer coach Joanie Dilbeck has added incoming sophomore Kali Vician from Hillsborough Community College.
Vician is a 5'3 midfielder originally from Dover, Fla. She graduated from Strawberry Crest High School in 2021 as the school's All-Time Leading Scorer. While at Strawberry Crest, Vician helped lead her team as captain to their first two district titles and was named All-State, 1st Team All-Western Conference, and All-Hillsborough County.
She started 14 of 16 games as a freshman at Montreat College in Montreat, N.C. and transferred to Daytona State College in the spring of 2022. She took a gap year of playing after Daytona State to finish her associate's degree at Hillsborough CC.
Vician will be a Business major in the fall.
"I'm grateful to Coach Dilbeck for providing me with another chance to continue playing the sport that I've loved since I was five years old and I'm looking forward to playing alongside a couple former teammates," said Vician.
"Kali is going to be such an asset to our team this fall," added Dilbeck. "She has shown major strengths, both in high school and her freshman year of college, and I can't wait to see her in action for the Lady Falcons."
