Falcons Defeated By Dalton State

Dalton, Ga. —Florida College women’s soccer dropped a challenging match on the road Thursday, falling 15-0 to Dalton State.

The Falcons (0-4-0) were held without a shot in the match, while Dalton State (3-1-1) fired off 61 shots, including 35 on goal. Florida College goalkeeper Hannah Collett recorded 20 saves despite the heavy pressure.

Dalton State led 8-0 at halftime and added seven more goals in the second half. Lexi Lyon led the way with a hat trick and an assist. Amelia Jesiak, Aoife Saunders, Andrea Dominguez, and Carrol Anne Giannamore each scored multiple goals for the Roadrunners.

Florida College will look to regroup as they continue the season and search for their first win.
