Lady Falcons Fall to Webber International

Florida College battled closely in the opening and final sets, but the Warriors found timely runs to edge out the victory. The Falcons hit .074 as a team, finishing with 35 kills and 66 digs.
Sophomore outside hitter Fiona Sampaio led the offense with a match-high 17 kills while hitting .286, adding 10 digs and 17.5 points. Cassidy Lee followed with nine kills, 15 digs, and a pair of blocks. Jazmyne Slay chipped in four kills and five blocks, while Raquel Teixeira added three kills and 15 digs.
Setter Taina de Lima Nunes paced the Falcons' attack with 29 assists and seven digs. Addeson Coffey anchored the defense with 14 digs, while Margarida Almeida provided a spark off the bench with two kills.
The Lady Falcons will be looking to bounce back as they resume the season with a home matchup against Florida Memorial on September 22.
