Bio
Kerri Mitchell enters her third season as head coach for the Florida College Women’s Volleyball team. Originally from Colorado Springs, Colo., Mitchell came to Florida College as a freshman to play volleyball in 2009. She played all four seasons with the Falcons and received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 2013. While at Florida College, Mitchell was named a 4x USCAA All-American, 3x USCAA Academic All-American, and 3x USCAA National Champion. She was also named a 3x National Tournament MVP, 4x Team MVP, and served three years as captain. In 2017, Mitchell was inducted into the USCAA Hall of Fame. In 2025 Kerri was also inducted into the Florida College Circle of Champions. Aside from playing volleyball, Mitchell also played two years of basketball at Florida College.
After Florida College, Mitchell and her husband moved to Gainesville. She coached 2 years of JV volleyball and 3 years assistant varsity coach at Santa Fe High School while teaching 4th grade. 
 
Kerri and her family moved back to Tampa in 2021, where she joined the Florida College Volleyball team in the 2022 as an assistant coach.
 
In her first two seasons as head coach, Mitchell led the team to 42 wins. In 2024 she led the falcons to a CAC Championship and was named coach of the year.
