KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The NAIA hosted a remarkable day of racing on October 25, 2024, as the Florida College Falcons tackled the challenging terrains in both women's and men's events. Despite a competitive field and tough courses, several individual Falcons flew high with noteworthy performances.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The NAIA hosted a remarkable day of racing on October 25, 2024, as the Florida College Falcons tackled the challenging terrains in both women's and men's events. Despite a competitive field and tough courses, several individual Falcons flew high with noteworthy performances.
The event featured tough competitions, including a women's 5000 meters and a men's 8000 meters race, with strong contingents from notable institutions such as Milligan, Montreat, and Cumberland, among others. While the team didn't secure top positions overall, the individual efforts were commendable. For the women's team, Kendall Griggs highlighted her prowess by clocking an impressive 23:09.5, and Carlie Gainer finished strong at 24:35.2. The men's side saw Sam Johnson leading with a time of 26:44.3 followed closely by Daniel Collins at 27:10.0.
Despite the lack of a top rank in team results, the Falcons exhibited resilience and strong performance across the board. The event also saw notable runs from Annelise Johnsey, Easton Dial, Jesse Boyd, Gibson Shanks, Gustav Looper, Avery Sisco, and Steven Ritchie, each putting forth valiant efforts under challenging conditions.
