Lady Falcons Compete In VSU Border Clash

VALDOSTA, Ga. — The Florida College women's cross country team competed at the VSU Border Clash on September 5, 2025, as senior Carlie Gainer and junior Katherine Raif represented the Falcons in the women's 5K race.

Gainer led the way for Florida College, finishing 61st overall with a time of 26:35.8, while Raif followed close behind in 63rd with a time of 26:53.7. Both runners gained valuable experience competing against a strong field that included teams from across the region.

The Falcons will return to action on September 26 at the FSU Invitational in Tallahassee, where they aim to continue improving their times and build on their early-season progress
